カガナエテ
光あること・明るいこと・昼を表すカと、暗いこと夜を表すガの両極をいう。転じて、正しいことをカ、邪悪なことがガとなって、善悪の意味に用いられる。ナエテは、柔らかにして編むことの意。「考える」の語源となっていると推察される。カガミの項参照。

KAGANAETE
"Ka" means "Shining, Brightness, and Daytime".
On the contrary, "Ga" means "Darkness and Nighttime".
Its meaning gradually changed to mean "Right things" and "Wicked things".
"NAETE" means "Knitting softly".
It is supposed to be the etymology of "to think".
